DDC Pulwama Chairs meeting for the smooth functioning of education Institutions in the district | KNO

PULWAMA, March 20, 2018 (KNO) : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar today Convened a meeting for the smooth functioning of education Institutes in the District at meeting hall DC office Complex Pulwama.

The meeting was attended by Additional Development Commissioner Pulwama , SSP Pulwama, Chief Education Officer, Principals of the Degree Colleges, Higher Secondary Schools , Zonal Education Officers ,Headmasters of the High and Middle schools of the district.

During the meeting participants apprised the DDC regarding various issues facing by the education institutes including lack of infrastructure, fencing and other requirements. Further it was suggested that in order to bring the all round development of the students, they should be engaged in different activities which among others include Quiz Competitions, Debates, Symposiums, Paintings, nurturing the culture of innovation,sports activities, and other activities.

It was also suggested that biometric attendance system should be introduced in the schools so that the attendance and punctuality of students can be monitored. On the occasion DDC said that Education is a powerful tool that empowers people to achieve great results and no individual or nation can prosper without knowledge. He said that we can solve big problem if we have the knowledge of solving it. Dar said that Development in our society is only possible by achieving education and it is our responsibility to create educational environment in our institutions. He said that District administration will support all education institutions at any level.(KNO)
